Our Journey

Since its founding in 2015, Reuse Trading has grown from a chemical trading company into an international partner connecting producers and industries across Africa and Latin America. Through continuous expansion, new product divisions and long-term partnerships, the company continues to strengthen its global trading network.

Reuse Trading was established as a chemical trading company in 2015 with the aim to connect worldwide producers with fast-growing regional industries. Africa became our first core region, where we initially built a strong presence across East, West and Central Africa. Soon thereafter also North and Southern Africa followed.

We also started focusing on intra-Africa trade, promoting exports and building long-term relationships in which clients became suppliers and suppliers became clients. In 2016 we expanded our operations by adding a tropical oils division alongside our industrial materials business. From there, our reach across the African continent grew even further.

In 2020 we extended our activities to Latin America, building a dedicated team to serve Central and South America, a natural step given our long-standing sourcing relationships in the region and our experience in the products these industries rely on.

As our organisation continued to expand, we relocated to a larger office in Antwerp in 2023, remaining firmly rooted in the city where our journey began. In 2025, we initiated SOCAMI Industries in Cameroon, a joint initiative with local entrepreneurs that aligns with our bridge to progress vision. Drawing on our experience in the palm oil sector, the project evolved into the creation of a kernel-crushing plant focused on processing locally sourced palm kernel nuts, designed to support sustainable industrial development and local value creation.
