Trader LATAM

As a Trader Latin America you are responsible for developing en managing our trading activities in Latin America. You will maintain relationships with existing clients and suppliers and actively develop new opportunities in the region.

You combine commercial acumen with strong market insight and negotiate international transactions from start to finish. Working closely with our internal team, you will ensure that deals are successfully concluded and long-term partnerships are established.

Job Description

You will develop and manage a network of clients and suppliers. To facilitate this, you will travel to Latin America several times a year.
You will identify new business opportunities and markets within the region
You will negotiate and conclude international trade contracts
You will analyse market trends and price developments
You will work closely with finance and operations to ensure transactions are properly monitored
You will manage commercial risks and monitor customer credit limits
You will regularly discuss general optimisations and opportunities with your team

Profile

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, business or international studies
2–6 years’ experience as a trader or sales professional in international trade
Strong commercial skills and negotiation abilities
Excellent networking and relationship management skills
Fluency in English and Spanish, Dutch and French are a great plus
Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of international market dynamics
Independent, proactive and results-oriented
